YUM! I don't have actual recipes, but here are some ideas:

Perhaps you could melt the chocolate and caramel, dip and roll them in the goodies - nuts, choc chips, etc. Good luck. Sounds like fun. (Check out the tuxedo apples :-) )I'd like to start making and selling gourmet caramel apples. Anyone have any neat recipes I should try out?
I had one that when I ate it, I was sure I was going to DIE in ecstasy!!!! It was a granny smith apple (green) dipped lightly in caramel, then dipped lightly in white chocolate, then rolled lightly in cinnimon sugar. OMG it was so freaking good! Lord, I start drooling just thinking about it. It was orgasmic....
Another one I had was a yellow golden apple. It was dipped lightly in butterscotch, then dipped lightly in a marbled white/milk chocolate swirl, and sprinkled with RAW sugar (it looks golden). That one was freakin' delicious, too!!!
I think one of the main things that attract me to carmel apples is their appearance. The two that I just described looked irresistable (to an adult). Not too sweet. Mostly apple. The small amount of carmel and chocolate and stuff appeared just enough (and guilt-free). The first one looked like Christmas morning to me. The second one made me think of A Midsummer's Night Dream.
Take photographs of them. I would cut a fourth section out and angle it so you can see the outside and inside at the same time. Then put them on a crystal plate and put the plate on a log in front of an apple orchard or an apple tree. That would be pretty. That way, you can use the photos like a menu OR put them on the internet as advertising.
Good luck.
